Different Personal Real Ghost Stories
During Christmas this last year, I took a photo of our Christmas tree...and thinking it was a good picture I posted it online for my family and friends to see. To be honest, I don't think anyone ever noticed the strange mist rising from the left bottom of the tree except myself. I had looked at the picture more than a couple of times before I noticed it...but it's there. Could this be a real ghost photo?
I've always thought that the house I live in has housed ghosts before, but the paranormal activity tends to pick up and then abruptly stop. My underlying thoughts are that I am one of those people that believe in the unseen and have seen/heard/felt spirits all of my life...so I believe it's possible that these spirits are sometimes attracted to me because they know that I know they are there. Maybe they're reaching out for someone who is still in this existence to acknowledge their existence.
The second real ghost photo here is one of me when I was about fifteen years old and living in Maryland at my parents' house. That house is at least 60 years old, if not older, and we've experienced real ghost stories there like you wouldn't believe. More than one person has passed away in that house, always of natural causes of course, but I believe a couple of those souls have stuck around...or lingered. If you look in front of me, there's a strange smoky mist that is more than obvious to everyone who can see this picture. But...the most interesting part of this real ghost photo is the object behind me in the bay window. Do you see where the dogs are playing? It's almost as if they're playing with someone over in the window area.
I circled in red the ghost that I knew always existed in this home before this real ghost photo was ever taken. He is a little boy of about three or four years old who passed away in that house in the 30s or 40s. The little boy was my stepfather's great uncle, I believe. He had pneumonia and died tragically at a very young age. I believe he was stuck in that house for many years...believing he was still alive or indeed confused as to where his parents were. They've both since passed, as well. What is the mist in front of me, though?
Is the mist in front of me a part of the little boy ghost? It could be...if you look towards the bottom, the mist connects with the image of the little boy in the background. But the mist in front of me in this real ghost photo almost resembles a horse...though other spirit-sensitive people claim that this mist looks like an older lady, sort of hunched over. What do you think?

Gosh, this is so interesting. I never know what to believe when it comes to the paranormal, but so many people have experiences. I have also had experiences.
I have seen photos with orbs but nothing like this. Very strange...

What an amazing bunch of experiences you have had, really impressive and really like your images they are a real gem. You seem to be a sensitive too and I guess your intuition is bang on because you have noticed them and they know it too.
I am an intuitive and have always been but it’s taken some time to finally acknowledge it in the light of being public with my own personal experiences and I can say for sure you are showing your integrity, courage and fortitude, you must be on your right path because your energy is glowing through your words in your story.

Hi kittythedreamer very interesting hub, I very much believe in the activity of entities hanging around after death as I too have personal experience & am a firm believer.
My adage is that because we consist of energy as our fuel for human life, our emotions are highly powerful which can linger around buildings & belongings as our souls exits the body on death.
Energy fuelled with powerful emotions from the living I view as responsible for ghostly activity once deceased. I have even authored a hub about this subject breaking down ideas for ghostly ventures upon us.

Great hub! I have pictures like this too, and I've always wondered about them myself - there is a picture of me when I was a teen that has a big white line through it that looks like it could be a piece of dust falling or something, but I'm pretty sure no dust looks like a perfect circle!

OK, that second picture, especially, gave me the chills! I absolutely believe there is energy around us that could possibly be explained as a "ghostly presence." Scientifically it makes sense, as InspiredToWrite commented on. Thanks for sharing, Kitty - I love hearing about people's experiences with this sort of thing. Maybe someday we'll figure out definitively what goes on with these spirits. Voted up and interesting!
I too have had an experience with a poltergeist as a teenager. My great aunt died in a Los Angeles apartment that she occupied for 20 plus years until her untimely death the effects of acute alcoholism.
To this day the management can't keep it rented because of her disturbing presence. Manager even allowed her son to occupy the apartment rent free and he had to leave. She died in 1978. Voted up, marked interesting.

I can't believe paradise7 can't see the little boy in the window. He is so clear. I have never seen such a clear photo of a spirit being. Wonderful. I see many orbs in photos I and others have taken but nothing as real as your photos.

Fascinating hub Kitty and the photos are awesome! It doesn't surprise me that your dogs were playing around with someone unseen. Dogs - as well as cats and horses - can usually see spirits long before we do. But also, as you say, you are used to tuning into spirits, then yes they will be attracted to your aura - especially now that you are developing spiritually.
Some investigators are calling mists like the ones in your photographs 'ectoplasmic mist'. They believe that along with true orbs, they are the manifestation of spirit energy.

Seeker7 - I always enjoy your views on the paranormal, so thank you for spending the time to check this hub out! I agree, animals are very sensitive to other worlds...specifically the spirit world. I'd like to try soon and get an aura picture done...have you heard of this? Apparently there are places that will take photographs and somehow capture parts of your aura! Yes I have heard of people getting photographs taken that show their aura - you'd probably find them on the net somewhere. I think these are fascinating and the colours are beautiful. You can also of course get a session with a good psychic who can read auras and will tell you the colours that surround you. I think in general the colours all tend to mean the same. I had one psychic many years ago who told me that I had a lot of 'brown' in my aura. I wasn't too sure about this at first, but then she said that animals respond to the colour 'brown' within the aura and this usually signifies an animal lover. I've no idea if what she said was right, but I am for sure an animal lover!
Ps - lots of luck with your nursing studies! I think you'll make an excellent nurse!

very strange and unbelievable kitty especially the photo in which you're present. well, that's why that little dog was heading to!! may be the animals can sense these invisible creatures.
