Fall Fashion Trends 2011 and How You Can Get The Fall Trends
What Fashion Trends Are Forecasted for Fall?
Fall is right around the corner, which for most of us means not only a change of seasons but a change in fashion and our wardrobes. We all want to be in style and so I will share with you all what hot fashion trends are forecasted for this Fall, 2011. Some you may be familiar with in past Fall fashion seasons and others might be new and exciting to you. Usually we see a plethora of boots, leather, and neutral colors but some of these new Fall fashion trends may surprise you. Be prepared for Fall with this upcoming Season's most adorable and affordable ready-to-wear fashion trends and get them on a budget.
Fall Fashion Trend #1 - Plaid
One of the first and most noticeable trends gracing the Fall runways for 2011 is PLAID. That's right, girls. It's back and ready for some Fall Fashion action.
Everyone from Betsey Johnson to Anna Sui adorned their models in plaid of all different colors and styles, from coats to leggings, purses to dresses, skirts to hats. Plaid is all the rage and is predicated to be one of Fall's most fashion forward trends for 2011.
Don't worry, though. You don't have to spend a fortune on a Betsey Johnson dress or break the bank on a pair of Anna Sui plaid stockings to be in style this Fall. Plaid fashion and accessories can be found almost anywhere you look. Amazon has some adorable and comfortable plaid button-down shirts for women for less than $50. Or try to find some plaid accessories like a blue lumberjack-style scarf or a Harajuku Lovers green plaid tote to finish off your perfect trendy Fall look.
Fall Fashion Trend #2 - Parkas
This next Fall Fashion trend will keep the Northerners nice and warm for those chilly Fall winds...Parkas! Parkas are back in full force and in different colors and fabrics than what the runway is used to seeing. Parkas in black, beige, red, tan, camel, purple, white, the list goes on. Parkas lined with fur, patterned in plaid, with multiple pockets and zippers. Parkas, parkas, parkas. If you live in a cold area, this is the perfect Fall fashion trend for you to cue into.
Parkas can be found at any coat store, department store, even Target or Ross. Get a good deal on the price, but also buy a parka of great quality that will last you all fall and winter and future seasons. Whatever your style, be it chic or funky, classic or trendy, there is a parka out there for you!
Fall Fashion Trend #3 - Retro Sixties & Crazy Furs
This Fall fashion trend is sure to be a favorite for Sixties vintage lovers and rebellious fashion lovers alike. Wild, psychadellic fur coats and retro sixties trends are two huge trends for Fall this year. This would have to be my number one favorite trend for Fall this year. It is fun, funky, and reminiscent of the sixties, how much better could a Fall fashion trend get?
To imitate these Fall fashion trends, go for all things mod and faux fur coats and stoles. Try some neon or brightly colored tights or leggings to wear under your mod dresses. How about a lovely leopard faux fur coat from Amazon by Iron First for less than $200? Even adding a pair of leopard print tights under a vintage sixties mini-skirt would make you look sixties' sweet for Fall.
If you need more inspiration, check out Betsey Johnson and Jill Sander's RTW lines for Fall on style.com. Look for vintage sixties' dresses at www.rustyzipper.com or www.etsy.com. Good luck with finding those Fall fashion trends!
