Valentine's Day is rearing it's lovely head and we must prepare ourselves, Ladies! Whether you have a crush or a boyfriend, I will provide some wonderful suggestions as to the best Valentine's Day gifts for boyfriends this year.
Ditch the cheesy teddy bears, forget the Russell Stover chocolates, and leave behind sappy love cards...try something different and new that will be guaranteed to impress your boyfriend or crush for Valentine's Day.

Stuff Guys Love Make the Best Valentine's Day Gifts
So instead of going all girly girl on your boyfriend's Valentine's Day present, why not pick out something that he'll truly get some use out of and enjoy? What does your boyfriend like...or what does your crush like?
Is he into sports, maybe football? Pick up a game of Madden for his game station and watch him swoon for you (yes, it is true that might mean less time with him, but you want to make him happy on Valentine's Day, right?) Better yet, buy a really nice football jersey for him and he will surely think you've picked out the best Valentine's Day gift for boyfriends. Make sure to choose his favorite player (if you don't know who that is, just ask him or his friends!) Jerseys can be a bit expensive, but if you have the money, they are totally worth it.
Another simple idea is to pick up a book about his favorite sport, especially if he's into reading or writing.
But he's not into sports! You might be saying...well, what else does the boy like? Is he a rocker? Get him some new guitar strings or a new guitar strap. Pick up some new guitar picks or a set of drumsticks. If he doesn't play an instrument and he sings, pick him up a microphone. Sound crazy? It's not, trust me!
So I'm still not giving you good enough ideas for the best Valentine's Day gifts for boyfriends? Think hard about what your boyfriend or crush really enjoys in life and go with that! Is he into cars? Find something that his car could use and pick that up for him.
Does he love technology? Pick up a Kindle Fire or some other tablet (other than an iPad, because I know how much $$$ those things cost!) Is he a writer or artist? Pick up some writing or painting/drawing supplies and show how much you're into his work.

Agree with Jeannie that men are so hard to shop for! My idea is a little corny but I made my boyfriend a love coupon book (I did it for Christmas) and filled it with activities he would like to do (i.e- he is always talking about going hiking or begging me to make his favorite dish). You could also pick a few activities or things your guy likes and do the same. I love your suggestion for a tablet or book since my guy is the rare breed that is totally not into sports!
Hi, these are great ideas, especially for the younger guy, most guys don't do lovely stuff, so this is a much better option, and of course if they think you like football too then its a bonus! lol! rated up! cheers nell
Honestly, we aren't as hard to shop for as you think. General ideas from a mans perspective:
breakfast
lunch
dinner
sausage and cheese basket (we really do enjoy these)
Well, there is a trend here. Have you ever noticed that just about every 50 year old man has a gut? We love food, get to know the types of food your boyfriend likes most and use that as a great gift idea! Great hub, hope you enjoy mine as well!
