Where are the truly best places to shop on Black Friday?
Looking for the best places to shop on Black Friday? I don't blame you. The problem with Black Friday is that most stores advertise deals but really end up ripping you off in the fact that they charge you the same amount for items that you would normally pay or sometimes even charge more! That's the sad truth, folks.
If you're looking for the best places to shop on Black Friday, and I mean truly the best - check out my list of the best places to shop on Black Friday.
#1 of Best Places to Shop on Black Friday - Best Buy
Electronics and the digital world-galore. Best Buy spells g-i-f-t-s for men and kids alike. Between DVDs, video games, cutting-edge televisions, e-readers, computer software and hardware - Best Buy is one of the best places to shop on Black Friday...and not just for the variety of merchandise. There are quite a few deals to be had at Best Buy on Black Friday.
Last year's Black Friday, Best Buy ran deals on new computers including laptops as well as Televisions. But you have to be careful what you're buying. Don't just run into Best Buy's doors after waiting all night in a tent to purchase a 3D Television for $3000 because Best Buy said it was "on sale". Make sure you're comparing prices as they are now and then compare to the "Black Friday" sale prices on Black Friday. The point is to not pay the same price on Black Friday as you would today or any other day.
Best Buy is notorious for being one of the best places to shop on Black Friday due to their DVD and video game sales. Check their selection out and pick up some discounted DVDs or video games for those special kids in your life (or special man).
#2 of Best Places to Shop on Black Friday - Walmart
While Walmart is not necessarily a favorite store of mine, it is one of the best places to go shopping on Black Friday and why? Because you can get Black Friday deals online, as well as in the store itself. This means that if you are not a fan of pitching a tent outside of a store's doors the night before Black Friday, you could simply go online and shop from the comfort of your house in one of the best places to shop on Black Friday. Online shopping = less stress!
The best thing about Walmart being one of the best places to shop on Black Friday is the fact that you don't have to wait until Black Friday to go shopping. Right now Walmart is having a pre-Black Friday sale on toys and the deals are smashing! So go ahead and get those toys that your kids have been wanting and hide them away for Christmas.
Last of Best Places to Shop on Black Friday - Amazon
Again, online shopping beats out the in-store shopping in our last of the best places to shop on Black Friday...you've guessed it, Amazon! Why Amazon, you may be asking? Well, if you've ever shopped on Amazon for anything other than Black Friday shopping, you'll know that they are always offering awesome, inexpensive deals on random merchandise. During the month of November, Amazon usually offers even better deals on things such as electronics and gift-type merchandise to save you from the Black Friday shopping rush. In the past years, Amazon has even done deals such as the $2 DVD deal. You can't beat that deal with a stick!
Think about getting your family member or loved one a kindle, too. The price on the Kindle is at a great deal lower now than it has been before, and you can get the Kindle Fire for less than $200! In case you weren't aware, the Kindle Fire is like a tablet such as the iPad or the Notebook.
Of course, if you'd rather freeze your butt off waiting outside the doors of a crowded store and then fight your way through crowds of people to go shopping this Black Friday, then suit yourself. But for me...well, I'd rather be sipping my coffee in my recliner on the morning of Black Friday...surfing the web and shopping for my Christmas presents online.
Good luck and I hope that I could help everyone out with the best places to shop on Black Friday!

That's great that so many places are offering online sales for Black Friday now. Many Etsy and eBay sellers offer this, too. I am much more likely to shop online then than in stores! Thanks for the tips.
Hi, great ideas, but what is Black Friday? lol gotta look that up!
Black Friday will be here sooner than later. I love it! My wife and daughter will hit the sales and my son and I will hit the links.
Good suggestions, kittythedreamer. Been to Best Buy before. Pretty wild!
I think this is a very useful hub, especially for young people just recently out on their own. One place I think has great bargains on Black Friday is Hot Topic.
I don't usually shop on Black Friday, but this year I am looking to buy myself a notebook for Christmas, and I was hoping to get it at Wal Mart, as that is where I shop at all the time, and if I can get it online that would be great. Thanks for a really helpful hub.
Rated "FUNNY" - You are hilarious!!!!
I love it - "Don't just run into Best Buy's doors after waiting all night in a tent to purchase a 3D Television for $3000 because Best Buy said it was "on sale"." Made me laugh so hard and you are right!
Good information. I plan on being in line at Best Buy around midnight Thursday/Friday a.m. Have fun!

I myself never go shopping on Black Friday, I don't do all that great in crowds for personal reasons. However one time I did send my brother and his wife there for an MP3 player I wanted, originally was eighty dollars. I got it for forty, at Best Buy. Interesting Hub.
